AAMI Park Stadium

In collaboration with artist Bruce Myles we embarked on a series of workshops, involving fixture testings and site trials. We established three different options to lighting the exterior of the stadium, finally settling on a preferred option involving an LED array consisting of a luminaire located at each node on the facade. The ‘nodal scheme’ provided the greatest number of options for integrating light into the facade within the conceptual framework that had been developed over the intense design period with artist and client.
