2013 Review

What a year for Electrolight!

When I reflect on where we were at at the start of the year and compare that to now, I’m amazed and what we have achieved.

Our Sydney studio has gone from strength to strength and we have absolutely consolidated on the efforts of last year and the creativity in that office was recognised through taking out the top prize at the IES NSW Lighting Design Awards for the CBRE Headquarters project.

In Melbourne we took out the corresponding Victorian award our work on 171 Collins Street. We also received our first (and second) award from the IALD for Crown Casino Facade lighting and Sneakerology in Sydney.

And our Melbourne studio moved this year to a new home in Lonsdale Street where we are all now on one level with oodles of natural space and a brand new fit-out.

We’re heading off for a well earned break and will be back on deck 6 January. We wish all of our clients, friends and collaborators a fabulous break and look forward to exciting times in 2014.
