FloodLight

We are really proud to have been associated with the FloodLight fundraiser for the victims of the recent Australian floods. Of course these events take quite some organising – and full credit to Elisha, Stacey and the rest of the Electrolight team for making this happen and run so smoothly on the day.

For those who were unable to be there, we held a luncheon at the beautiful Comme restaurant in central Melbourne.  We had around 75 members of the lighting community (including as few of their friends to boot) for a beautiful 3 course lunch with wines sponsored by Sticks.  Some supporters of the event also pitched in with donations for a silent auction which we also held of the course of the event.  It was remarkable how everyone got into the spirit of the day and the generosity which was on display.  We ended up raising about $10k.  If you were there, our heartfelt thanks.
