Australian Embassy in Washington DC reaches major milestone!

The new Australian Embassy in Washington DC has topped out! Located in the heart of Washington DC, the new chancery will replace the existing chancery, which was also designed by Bates Smart back in 1964.

It is a civic building that references our landscape, and its architecture and interiors reflect Australia’s enduring and welcoming spirit. Electrolight is proud to be part of the team on this exceptional project designing the lighting scheme for the Facade, all front of house interior spaces and the external public domain.
