IALD Award for Electrolight

Our Australian director Donn Salisbury recently attended the 33rd Annual IALD International Lighting Design Awards in San Diego, California USA. Considered the most coveted awards of the lighting design industry, the IALD received over 200 entries from around the globe.

Electrolight received the IALD Award of Merit for Sake – Double Bay (Sydney, Australia). This was our first project with the Urban Purveyor Group and Interior Designer Melissa Collison. The project was such a delight to work on – so much so we are now working on our 8th project together after recently completing a number of exciting fit-outs including Sake – Flinders Lane (in Melbourne).

The award was the perfect way to wrap up what was an exciting week, following the official opening of our new Electrolight San Francisco studio, led by lighting genius Claudio Ramos.
