Melbourne Rectangular Stadium

Every time I pass the Rectangular Stadium my heart-rate quickens.

They have now started to install the cladding panels which you can see at the top of the roof and you get a glimpse of what it will look like when completed – without the lights of course.  As for the lights themselves, we believe the installation will be Australia’s largest LED installation with some 1600 fixtures and 4800 individually addressible colours.  It really is going to be something out of the ordinary.  Computer renders never do these kind of schemes justice but if you would like a glimpse of what’s in store when the stadium is complete in March 2010, click here to watch the video.
