News flash: We have another wonderful speaker for Objective Light this Thursday night: Mr Geurilla Lighting himself, Joe Norster. Joe will talk about his guerilla lighting exploits from this year’s LIW festival as well as sharing stories from his previous lighting stunts which usually involve a big generator, some big lights and a short window of time before the authorities arrive. It is an honour to welcome Joe to the line-up.
If you haven’t already, please RSVP to objective.light@gmail.com
To coincide with this year’s fabulous Light in Winter festival at Fed Square, we are proud to bring Objective: Light to Melbourne THIS THURSDAY NIGHT.
Objective: Light is an event where creative minds come together to discuss their work and how this work intersects with light. On Thursday night we will hear from artists Rob Caslick and Eness; two of the headline artists in this year’s festival. Rob will talk about his cBraille installation which is a lighting exhibition for people who are blind. Nimrod Weiss will not only talk about Eness’ wonderful LED see-saw currently installed at Fed Square but will also present other works including the hugely successful (we’re talking close to half a million views online) installation called Mobius.
And it gets even better still: the wonderful Austube, Euroluce, Light Project and JSB have generously sponsored the event which means that drinks and finger food will be provided. All you have to do is show up at 6.30 this Thursday night, upstairs at Beer DeLuxe at Fed Square.
