Do you love lighting? Interested in daylight? Interested in spending quality time in the interior of one Melbourne’s best bars  (that might just be serving free drinks)? – then this is the event for you.  PECHA KUCHA – True Light, the inaugural IES Chapter meeting for new president, our very own Dave Anderson.
Pecha Kucha was devised in Tokyo in February 2003 as an event for designers to meet, network, and show their work in public. It has turned into a massive celebration, with events happening in hundreds of cities around the world, inspiring creative people worldwide.
Drawing its name from the Japanese term for the sound of “chit chat”, it rests on a presentation format that is based on a simple idea: 20 images x 20 seconds. It’s a format that makes presentations concise, and keeps things moving at a rapid pace. The theme is ‘True Light’ and will be a discussion of natural light from its practitioners. Pecha kucha will be held at Loop Bar,  23 Myers Place on Wednesday 25 July from 6pm.
