The revitalised beachfront now includes open recreational spaces with climbing walls, international competition grade skate facility; a playground and public pool recreation complex. The area also boasts a new civic square with improved transport connections, a new surf club building and Sunset Hill, offering spectacular beachside views.
Electrolight was engaged to provide specialist lighting design to all elements of the Scarborough Foreshore redevelopment. The lighting design supports all exterior recreational and lifestyle activities, interface with all surrounding buildings and enhances the landscape across the site.
The project received the Award for Excellence in the Parks and Open Space category at the Australian Institute of Landscape Architect WA 2019.
