Our San Francisco Studio turns 5

As we celebrate 5 years of Electrolight San Francisco, we recently took 5 minutes for a chat with studio leader Claudio Ramos, CLD, IALD…

EL: Tell me about the projects… CR: We have been appointed for 192 projects to date, many from CA but also ID, MA, NY, DC, AZ, MT, IL, TX. Our furthest project was at Raycom City in Hefei, China.

EL: What’s the funniest thing that has happened? CR: In April 2019, I was in Philadelphia to receive an IALD Award of Merit for our Rothy’s project in SF. The project’s Interior designer, without knowing the project had been awarded, called me with 5 new Rothy’s projects.

EL: What you have learned in these 5 years? CR: Nothing pays like hard work. Always dream big. You have to find your passion; stay focused, and keep at the task until the job is done. You have to stay obsessively motivated. But, never forget to stop to and recharge your batteries. Also, never forget to appreciate your team’s hard work.

EL: What do you hope for in the next 5 years? CR: Stability and steady growth. I will be thrilled if we keep moving onwards in the next five years, as we have done in the last five. I appreciate every little moment, every successful project completed, every happy client, every accolade.
