Special lighting effects in the daytime?

Sometimes the small projects are where you get to have the most fun.  It’s on these projects that you get to try out new things and learn new tricks.  When most people think about lighting they think of what it will look like at night, yeah?  But what about the potential to create beautiful lighting effects in the day?  Sounds like it would be expensive, right?  Or thirsty for power?  Check out our work in a previously unloved underpass in Box Hill in Melbourne’s east. We had a very restricted budget but a great client in Helen Bainbridge from City of Whitehorse and progressive landscape architect in Aspect Studios.  With nothing more than the sun, some highly reflective strips and a lot of careful design by our very own Rachel Burke we think we have created something pretty cool.  Enjoy.
