Thank you, Rachel

This post is dedicated to thanking Rachel Burke for her contribution to Electrolight over the past 5 years.

Rachel has been instrumental in helping us become the firm we are today. She has contributed to the firm in countless ways and the hallmarks of her work include creativity, integrity, passion and tenacity. Rachel has been at the centre of some of our most well-known projects such as Lonsdale Street Dandenong, Qatar National Bank, Melbourne AAMI Park Stadium, the University of Melbourne faculty of Architecture and the Silence and Moving Light sculptures at Hamer Hall.

Rachel leaves Electrolight on a full time basis to return primarily to theatrical lighting design.  Her recent work with the Australian Ballet for their 50th anniversary is testament to her skills in that field.  Although she will be missed on a personal and professional level, the plan is that Electrolight will continue to collaborate with Rachel on legacy projects and some of our new works in the next exciting chapter of her inspiring career.
